Selene Park is a beautiful holm oak wood with several easily walkable paths by foot and bike. Its flora is rich with chestnuts, hollys and more. Very interesting is the “ digitalis purpurea”, herbaceous plants with violet flowers, used for its medicinal properties, in the present time is a protected species.
A great day out for fans of walking, dedicated to the nature and a opportunity to discover local beauties. On the wood there is an nuragic archeological site, composed by a nuraghe and two tombs belonging to giant. Only the base of the nuraghe remains. The park is equipped for pick-nick.
